Chroicocephalus ridibundus; Larus argentatus

Captured on the outskirts of Gdynia along concrete sea defences, the sounds of black-headed and European herring gulls mingle with the morning activities of the harbour. The birds were feeding on the gently-sloping outer side of the defences, and I was able to climb over the main wall to place a couple of microphones close to the surface.

Mallard calls and sparrow/feral pigeon wingbeats are audible at various points.
